  • Numbers 7:12 ESV

"He who offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Aminadab, of the tribe of Judah."

I find it very interesting that the person who offered the offering on the very first day is a direct descendant of Jesus Christ. According to Ruth 4 and Matthew 1, Nahshon was David's great, great, great, grandfather. Nahshon was doing partially only what his descendant could complete. Nahson's sacrifice only was a covering of sin; his descendant Christ's sacrifice was perfect in cleansing sin. Very interesting indeed.

  • Everything about Jesus and his direct descendants are always interesting. It makes it more accurate that Jesus really did exist (a point proven to those who don't believe in Him)
